Today was day 1 of the Slim-Fast breakfast plan. I had coffee at home and took some with me for the ride to work, and made a shake to drink once I got to school.
I started with the standard 8 oz of milk and mixed in the powder in the immersion blender.
It whipped up to 12 oz. I added about 3 ice cubes to thicken it, but I found that it was still a little to thin for me. I think tomorrow I will add some more ice cubes and see if that can thicken it up a bit.
It tasted OK, had a good chocolate flavor, and kept me full from 7:30 until about 10:30. Not too bad.
I wonder how long it will take me to get sick of drinking this, and go back to my sugary cereal..
