Work It

I had my post-partum checkup last Wednesday and things were looking good. I lost 20 of the 30lbs I gained throughout the pregnancy and was cleared to resume working out.

I have been taking Kate for walks around the neighborhood, sometimes with another mom and baby (girl who is only 1 week younger than Kate) who live in the neighborhood. Breastfeeding burns calories and pushing a stroller uphill can get pretty intense sometimes, but I'm hoping to step up my 'workouts'. I don't know when that is going to happen, though, since whenever Kate is sleeping I am trying to get some sleep, clean up the house, or shower (or maybe update this little blog).

  1. Great Diana! Insanity has been working for me. But any recorded workout is nice so you can pause with the baby and go back to it. Can't wait for crabfest!

    1. My sister did insanity before having JJ. She lost a ton of weight. I think it's a little intense for me, but I do need to start up with a program again.
