Kohl's is donating $500,000 to 20 schools nation wide. The school where I teach is located in a very poor neighborhood. Many of the families are immigrants looking to give their children the best education possible. My school, NHE, provides many opportunities for parent and family outreach through Family Learning Nights, Saturday Field Trips, and other amazing opportunities free of charge to parents. This money would really help our school out in providing even more for the students.
