We went out for my grandfather's 86th birthday on Friday night. After dinner, we went back to my parents house for cake.
The night was filled with memories that will last a long time:
Grandpa got to hold his great grandson.
Kaelyn was so excited, she thought the presents were for my dad (her grandpa) and thought we were singing for her.
Madison was crawling.
I think everyone had a great time, and I can't wait until we are all together again.

Happy to you!
Yes, that's right: "HAPPY TO YOU!" is what Kaelyn screams when she sees birthday cake, sprinkles, and presents. Luckily for her, we celebrated her birthday on Saturday with lots of cake and presents and of course Dora paraphernalia.
What a difference it was seeing her at almost 2 compared to last year's 1st birthday. She has SO MUCH personality now.
I could seriously watch her open presents all day long. For every one she would rip out the tissue or rip off the paper and go "oooh!" before she even knew what it was.
Here she is actually singing along this year. (I can't find last year's video on my computer but it is on facebook if you want to compare)

Baby Names
I finally got up to Laura's place this weekend and got a picture of K and JJ's names hanging on the wall.

I would love to be able to make these for more people and make a little money on them, but I only know a few pregnant people. If you know someone, send them my way ;)

County Fair
My dad wanted to take Kaelyn to the fair this week. Wednesday was Kid day, but it was so rainy we went on Thursday. She had so much fun on the rides and seeing the animals.

With her mama on the Wiggle Wurm

On the carousel for the second time with her Pop-Pop

The Dizzy Dragon, when she saw them she said "rawr, rawr"

Bubbles!
After two days of training, I woke up bright and early at 4:50am to drive to my sister's place an hour away. I am watching Kaelyn again today and tomorrow. So far our day has consisted of more cereal ("cereal!"), watching some nick jr, singing the ABCs ("A a c e e e e a a a a la la la la la ooo ooo s e e e ooo s i c"), and blowing bubbles ("bubbles!").
She really liked blowing the bubbles on the balcony and we went out twice to do it. We were taking turns until KK wanted to hold the bubbles and ended up spilling them. When I took them away she started crying and I took that as a cue that she needed her morning nap (it was just before 9, and she usually naps around 9 or 10). I put her in her crib and she put her head right down.
Now I know I can hear her singing before she falls asleep but I thought it was too funny to hear her say "bubbles, bubbles, bubbles! uh ohhh..."
After her nap we will attempt to go to the pool or the park. If it is too hot we will go to the mall or just hang out here.

Playing with Kaelyn

No WiiFit update this morning, since I Had to be at my parents' house at 6:45am. My sister is taking a class this week and I get to watch Kaelyn (with the exception of tomorrow and Wednesday when I have to go to training). Well we had a busy day so far: she ate her new favorite food, cereal ("cereal!"), put all the stuffed animals to sleep ("nite nite"), went on a walk to the park where we played on the swing and slide and she found her new favorite game of opening the door and yelling "hello!" then shutting the door over and over. Currently she is taking her morning nap, where she laid down then I heard her singing and moving the crib for a few minutes until I went in and patted her back so she would sleep.
Here are the pics of this morning and some videos (hopefully they work!).

Babies
Early this morning (6:15, the only reason I was up this early in the summer was to take Adam's car to get the emissions checked and then make a Sam's Club run) Adam came upstairs from the bathroom.
A: I don't know why, but this is the third morning where I've felt like throwing up.
Me: Are you pregnant?
A: I think so...
Me: That's not fair! I'm supposed to be the one who has the baby.
I should mention that we are not trying to get pregnant, that's not even in the plans for a couple more years. I have a year of grad school left, then we want to plan a nice vacation.
So, no babies for us (well, me anyway. Adam is still getting over his frequent morning sickness) but I do have two adorable nieces.

I love spending time with them, they are so adorable and funny.
