Welcome to the World!

Little JJ was born about a week early on Tuesday morning.

After waiting at the hospital on Monday afternoon and evening, we were told he wasn't coming anytime soon. We left at 11:30pm hoping to hear some news. He was born at 2am. Thankfully Tuesday was a snow ice day so after it melted down I was able to go and meet him.

He looks just like his sister, Kaelyn

Who was so funny to watch when she first saw him

 She wanted to hug and kiss him.

I can't imagine having a 2 year old and a new born at home, but luckily K will be in daycare and Laura can get to know her baby boy in a (mostly) quiet home.

Baby Frame

In my parents' nursery hang two picture frames:

One for Kaelyn and one for Madison. I made one for Laura when I was trying to plan another baby shower for her, but ended up canceling it because of weather, timing (too close to Christmas) etc... So I gave it to Mom and Dad and they put it up in the nursery. Then Baby Maddy came along and we couldn't just have K's picture up in the grandparents' nursery, so I made one for her too.

Now that Laura is 8 months preggers, baby due in January, I thought it was time JJ had a picture frame too. I picked up the frame and stickers at Michaels (without a 40% off coupon.. how stupid...) for about $10.

 

It's hard to take scrapbooking supplies and make it boy-ish. Everything is pretty girly but I found some stickers that would work. I hope everyone likes it. Now it will just wait for baby JJ to arrive.

Baby Names

I finally got up to Laura's place this weekend and got a picture of K and JJ's names hanging on the wall.

I would love to be able to make these for more people and make a little money on them, but I only know a few pregnant people. If you know someone, send them my way ;)
