The End

Biggest loser has finally come to an end, and while I knew I wouldn't win I was happy to see that I lost some more weight this week.
-2lbs
I'm down almost 10 lbs overall (from when I started counting) and down 12 from my heaviest weight. I just went shopping over spring break and my shirts are now a size smaller, and I can button the sleeves on the (now medium) shirt!  I can't remember the last time I was able to button the sleeves on any of my shirts (if ever).
My pants are, however, the same size. I guess Yoga Booty Ballet is building up the muscles in my booty after all.

Weigh In

What week # is this anyway???

-3 lbs

!!!
I am beyond happy to be making progress again. I started with MFP again and think it has made a difference. However I am taking a sick day today (stupid allergies...) and used my own scale. But it was after I had my coffee and at a later time than I normally weigh in at school so who knows. I just hope to keep this momentum going.
Plus YBB should be arriving today so I can finally get started on that in the mornings.
Here's to another good week. :)

Week 9

(I think my week counting was a little off... but this is week 9)

-0.6lbs
(+2lbs over all...)

I took last week off for my birthday. But I had a hidden agenda too. I gained some major poundage. It was not good. I was just hoping that I would be able to lose what I had gained over the past couple weeks. I can only blame myself for eating the way I have been, and not working out the way I should.
I think I really am back on track now. I am working out after school with a couple coworkers and am trying to make better food choices. We'll see how next week turns out.

Week 6

+3.4
OMG!

I blame stress.

And eating too much bad food like McDonalds twice last week, almost finishing my Chinese food on Sunday, and having too many french fries and fried foods in general.

Monday I started my slimfast breakfast and salad lunch again which continued yesterday and this morning too.

Hopefully I am back on track with more motivation (since I am weighing more than I did when the competition started!).

There is a Zumba instructor who will be teaching a class after school once a week so Hopefully that will help me succeed.

Week 5

-2.2

After a Birthday dinner at Outback, followed by delicious cake, I was hoping to just maintain my weight this week. I was pleasantly surprised that I had dropped some poundage. Hopefully I will stay on this track through more birthdays and my anniversary.

Week 4

(Sorry for the delay, this should have been posted on Wednesday...)
+2.0
Yup, that's right, I gained back those two lbs I lost last week. So I'm guessing that was a fluke. And the McDonald's cheeseburgers, fries, and Shamrock Shake at 10pm Sunday night didn't help either.
Here's to a better week ahead (except I'll be going to Outback again on Friday for my Grandpa's birthday so I'll probably gain some more weight...)

Week 3

-2.0

I don't know how it happened. I'd been bloated and eating chocolate every day. Though I had been trying to exercise- which I did for a total of 45 minutes for the whole week.
Maybe it's the slim fast finally catching up with me?
Anyway- I'm glad I made some progress.

Week 2

+1.6lbs

I blame the food this weekend.

And the impending visit this weekend.

And the fact that I haven't worked out at all.

I don't think next week will be any better...

Weigh In #1

-1.5lbs

Not too bad, except that last week I was wearing my snow boots and heavier clothes. This week I was wearing very light layer of clothing and only 1 1/2 pounds lighter!? What is frustrating the most is that it is still 2 lbs heavier than what my scale at home says. I do happen to weigh myself in the morning, before breakfast, and practically naked. So by the time I get dressed, have coffee or breakfast, and get to school there could definitely be a weight difference.

Talking about breakfast, this is a tricky subject. Sometimes I wake up soooo hungry, and so I eat right away. But then  I get to work and am hungry again before 9:00. Other times I do not wake up hungry, so I wait to have breakfast at school, which means either eating school breakfast or packing something like a banana.  I know breakfast is 'the most important meal of the day' so I want to change my habits. I will still have my coffee, but I plan on switching to Slim-Fast. Not that I think it will be a miracle weight loss solution, but I think I need to eat a healthy breakfast with enough protein to hold me until my lunch at 10:45 (I know, so early, right? But hey, that's what happens at an elementary school).

My mom used to give us Slim-Fast for breakfast in high school because it was the only way we would have breakfast some mornings. Her thought was 'better that than nothing'. So I'm hopeful that this little change will help keep me on track.

And yes, I bought the powder so I can mix it myself in my immersion blender. I like it better a little frothier and thicker than what comes in the can.

And by the way, did you know Slim-fast has a website? You can make a plan to lose weight for a birthday, anniversary, or other special event. I don't think I'll be using it, since I'm not drinking 2 shakes a day, but it is probably pretty helpful for anyone needing some guidance. For me I think I'll stick to MFP.

What are your thoughts on Slim Fast?
